Looking for feedback on the K&N 63 intake. Heard some are getting engine codes. Thanks.

I don't know about codes, but oiled air filters commonly foul MAF's and definitely let in far more particulate than good paper filters do. This all comes with minimal if any power gains. Sure, you have to replace paper filters on the regular, but they're not exactly expensive. Unless you're looking to get yourself more intake noise — which I support, if it makes you happy — I wouldn't bother replacing the intake at all. Stock intakes on most modern engines are generally about as good as you're going to get; manufacturers can't afford to leave much power on the table and a well designed intake is a safe place for them to get it.

If you are looking to get an intake that provides more intake sound, I'd look at ones that come with dry filters. I don't know much about what's out there for the T24A-FTS, but I can offer that I've had an aFe intake on my old BMW for almost two decades now. I'm quite happy with it. Doesn't make any more power than stock, but it looks nice in the engine bay and sounds pretty cool.
