Hello, looking for any recommendations or advice on this leak/spray I have coming out from what looks like the p/s cv axle. I’m thinking the seal might be gone? The boot doesnt seem to be torn either. No visible leaks from inside the engine bay nor on my garage floor. I’ll pressure wash it off then ten minutes later, it’s spraying fluid again. Any help is appreciated!

I suggest huggies or Pampers snug fit.

You have a small crack in the rubber you are overlooking.

You have better eyes than me apparently. Going to start with a new boot. Thanks for catching that.

How are your cv angles they look like the fins are touching?

Does it look like it’s spraying in an arc out from the boot after driving? Looks like you need the orange boots that have wider fins for the angels you have and the wear on your boots.

Yeah the fins are touching pretty good. I found a tiny hole at the bottom of the boot where it’s touching that I overlooked before. I am going to replace the entire thing with a wider fin boot. Atleast I found where the leakage is coming from. Might look at the cvj axles for more long term as the angle of my cv’s needs to change and then a diff drop. Truck is on 2.5 kings with about 3.5-3.75 lift height. I appreciate all the advice guys.

Those lift measurements seem high. Can you measure from bottom edge of fender to center of hub? The angles in your pic look really steep. I'm betting the ride isn't great if those numbers are accurate. Based off the way the fins wore it show lift is pretty hight too though. Not sure your complete set up so I may be missing something.
I got a new CV from CVJ and the orange boot and an extra orange boot to change out my other one to spread those fins out and minimize the wear. Diff drop would help too like you said.

Yeah you definitely got way too much lift on that.
If you want to be near 4" lift, you need to put a drop bracket set on there.

If you don't want to do that, then 2" lift max.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Damaged boot due to rubber to rubber contact. reason, as stated before due to lift. reduce lift and service your original CV’s. If you don’t want to deal with that buy some, stopped by I’ll swap them for free for you and I keep the old ones. Cheers

Wow that must ride shitty. What is your top hat to center bolt measurement on the kings? I’m running Kings at like 1.5” of lift rides great

I meant to say my lift is near 2.5 NOT 3.5. I got mixed up with the heighth. Still going to lower it a bit and service my cv’s. It rides a little shitty, but I do have 700lb springs on for a bumper I will be getting soon.

Good looking truck. 2.5 makes way more sense. Check your measurements. I had mine sitting about an inch too high upfront for a short bit and it rod really crappy. Lowered it and smoothed it out quite a bit and took out some of the bump steer.

Thanks dude! Yeah I plan on lowering it probably the same amount tbh. Think it’ll be way better ride quality and then the new cv’s I plan on getting. I appreciate the advice/help man.
