I’ve had a few different Toyos and so far this size and load is my favorite. The only thing that would convince me to change would be if they wear out quickly (30-35K like some have been said to do - hopefully not since I am anal about tire pressure), or if the BFG KO3 continues to get lots of praise, I may try them. Otherwise, I am totally happy with my 265/75 SLs. I normally don’t like SLs due to them being flimsy but these are not that way at all, they feel super firm for such a large sidewall on a passenger rated tire, yet not uncomfortable at all. They’re great.

I still get 20mpg with 265’s and that’s why I have no desire to go up in size. This is my work truck and it sips gas (for a truck) at 65-70mph. I’m pretty light footed.
I run Ironman A/T 10ply tires because I use county roads and pick up nails too often.

Can’t wait to install these guys, it’s a little early but my Duratracs are driving me crazy. I got these for 665 shipped including tax, I was a little weary but all the date codes are within the last 6 months so thats good. IMG_6048.jpg IMG_6046.jpg IMG_6049.jpg

Just came back down a size from 2 sets of 33’s MT’s. Now 265/75/16 FALKEN WILD PEAKS awesome for my needs. Plus ride quality is very important.

Looks good! I thought about going skinny 33s this time but the 265-75 is such a great size. I feel like it’s an ideal size for the trail and if you tow. Also, I don’t like doing stuff that terribly affects my fuel range. I live near tons of places to explore but when you leave my area gas stations are hit or miss. Sometimes they’re just at local stores in rural areas and not always open.

Agreed it is a great size for sure. Definitely I gained back some mpgs which is nice. I love driving this truck. Like having a daily weekend warrior set up for me it’s perfect. Drives smooth

I like my truck too. I wouldn’t say it’s a love hate relationship but sometimes I want to get a bigger truck. Really what I should do is get a bigger second vehicle, either for me or the wife. The taco isn't great for hauling adults on long drives but I also see that as a first word problem lol. I thought about getting a Ram Power Wagon or F250 with the gas 6.4 and 6 speed auto. I just can’t stand how much crap newer cars have that’s stupid expensive to fix. One reason why I got my Taco was how basic it is. I’ll probably keep it for a long time, it’s just a great truck that doesn’t really excel at much but it does everything.

Definitely keeping mine for a long time. It’s been paid off for a while. Built it for longevity. Kept the lift not to high. Spent money on a good suspension. Kept weight down the best I could. I don’t beat on it but I do have fun that’s for sure. Agreed they definitely don’t haul to well not like a full size. For me I did not buy it for that.Definitely knowing its limitations.
