I was desert camping and there were no good rocks or logs around to make a pit or grill stand.
Instead I made a pile of sand "supported" with driftwood sticks to elevate my foldover grill above the charcoal. I used the bungee from the grill handle down to a stake (later, held down with my cooler) to keep the grill more-or-less stable and horizontal.
It was not an ideal setup, but did the job without my having to hold it!
The storage box was initially just a wind block, but it started to get melty, so I innovated.

Saved this post on IG a while back, thought these might be a good option for camping meals. Marinate and freeze ahead of your trip then you only need to prep whatever veggies or starches on site.
Trying a couple this week and might try a couple more - maybe with some steak or something like the teriyaki one.

I've been taking notes from the outdoor boys YouTube channel and vacuum sealing precooked food and just heating it up in boiling water. It's worked well. I should preslice my brisket and lay it flat. Trying pulled pork this weekend

I made some Spaghetti Sauce before my last camping trip, put it in a ziploc bag and froze it. Got to camp, boiled it in some water until it was warm and then served it. So much easier pre-making it and clean up was easier too. highly recommend prepping food ahead of time, vacuum sealing and freezing for at least some meals.

I have dehydrated spaghetti sauce too.
Dehydrating cooked noodles makes re-cooking easy.

    Or dehydrate sauce and noodles.
