I have found that my rear bracket Honda spacers appear to be the identical pocket shape that is required for the gen 4 Tacoma. I will be sending some out for fitment by the end of the month. These will still provide bracket in spacer, instead of traditional bracket on top of a flat spacer, which is the safest spacer to use. I tested this with early designs and, with someone sitting in the seat without the bolts installed, you cannot knock the spacer out with a hammer. I call it my SAF-T-LOK design and no other spacer manufacturer makes them like this.

It's 2025 and I hate powered seats. Nothing I drive on a regular bases has a power seat and enjoy it all the time. I prefer less optioned vehicles so I won't have a powered seat.

I went from a 2022 Tundra limited with electric soft Tex seats to a 2024 Tacoma with manual cloth seats and I’m having buttock and hamstring pain after 30 min of driving. The last time I had this problem was in a Chevy Bolt with similar cloth seats that were soft. Long drives are miserable and I’m constantly readjusting my position on the seat to get comfortable.

Is it the angle or depth of the seat or the stiffness of the seat that’s the issue?

I’m about see if I can buy the electric softer seats Tex seats or get rid of it.

Before taking a loss like that I would strongly suggest testing seat spacers. This is not a sales pitch. I don't care where you get them. It is a small investment that may provide comfort. I have been using them for years in 3 trucks. My 2016 seats were so bad that I was looking at Fords and Chevrolets. Made front spacers that made seats worse for me. Made rear spacers and that has worked well for me for 6 years.

I now have some for the 4th gen. I am waiting on another member to reply so there will be 2 to 3 kits available. These are currently made for another vehicle. I get $35 for a pair however I will send out the 1st few for $30 shipped, including 4 bolts (for buyers to determine the best fit length), and 2nd/3rd gen Tacoma/FJ Cruiser instructions. These will ship by USPS 1st class or ground advantage shipping with tracking. I generally use Priority box shipping so the discount price comes with the cheaper shipping.2024 taco seat blownup A.jpg

Just an update: 2 sales of new style rear spacers, both happy with comfort, pocket faces down onto mounting hump in floor, flat side up. Not as I intended however they are stable. Mounting floor humps under bracket would not work with flat washer style spacers sold elsewhere. 1 customer now wants 2nd set for passenger seat. 1 customer still on the fence. Neither has returned them for a refund.

Installed pictures. Unpainted mounted with pocket down on floor hump. Black painted by customer and the pocket is facing up as planned.:

Just finished a new small batch of 4th gen rear bracket spacers. Those on the waiting list will receive a payment message/email in 4-5 days.

I also made a change that should be a better fit on the floor. Similar to the oem fit of the bracket. Anxious to get feedback on Monday shipments.

I now have 5 sets of the spacers out for reviews. So far the reviews are positive. Only 1 person mounted his 'upside down' to get what he considered to be a better fit. A couple have stated that their truck did not have a 'hump' to deal with on the floor. One was a 2024 and one was a 2025. Not sure if there was a change to the floor or that the initial 'hump' picture was exaggerated by the camera view. It appears that the current shape, with the newest mod, seems to be functional and safe. Once I receive more input, after at least a solid week of use by all 5, I will make any requested changes and add these to my next production run. I will then post an ad in the 4th gen classifieds. Any future sales would be $40 for 1 seat and $70 for 2 seats. This is the same price I charged from 2019 to 2023. For the past 2 years materials have increased in price and shipping has increased in price. There has been a 20% increase in aluminum in 2025. Now tariffs are going to add more cost to manufacture. For reference I am still much cheaper and better quality than my competitor that makes extremely cheap thick washers and charges $15 more per pair for rear spacers.

The hump difference could also be ICE vs. Hybrid. The rear transmission hump is quite different between the two. Might need different setups for the "inside mount"?

I appreciate the input. Didn't consider the possible hybrid difference. Any info is welcomed.

Depending on which you measured, might need to recruit a hybrid owner in the vicinity (if there is one). But the Hybrid hump is a touch wider and sits about 3/4" inch higher than the ICE version. If there's a specific measurement you'd like from an HV, you can send me a message and I can try and take them for you.

So far my rear bracket, front seat, 4th gen spacers (seat leveler) are mounted in, or enroute for installation, to 8 total people. So far mounting in 2024 and 2025 SR5, Sport and Off Road models, with both automatic and manual transmissions. To my knowledge all are non-hybrid vehicles. Not sure if the hybrid will require a different shape of spacers. Here is what I know so far.
    (1) The mounting area of the seat frame, the area under the frame where the bolt passes through, is completely flat just like the bottom of my spacers have always been. The dimensions of that flat seat frame area will indeed fit within the pocket machined in the spacers.
    (2) The aforementioned floor mounting surface, regarded as a "hump'', is an odd shape however the spacer is virtually identically flat on the bottom as the actual frame mount of the seat. I made a mod on the bottom of some recent spacers however that mod is not required and will be discontinued.
    (3) I have received all positive feedback with regards to comfort. Only the 1st person mounted his with the pocket down. All others have mounted them as designed with the pocket up directly against the seat frame mounting point. Otherwise I have had no complaints with the fit and installation.
I started, and soon deleted, an ad for these in the 4th gen marketplace. I did not have enough data and feedback to justify selling them yet. I am now more confident yet I will await all feedback from all 8 individuals before moving forward. I do provide a return-for-refund option. I just want to be certain that my spacers meet all of your expectations as well as my own standards before marketing them. If any of the 1st eight want to follow up with a review, or change recommendations, I invite you to do so.
