I suspect that has happened to me as well. One time I pulled it out for a quarterly charge and it was dead flat. My question is this - do we really need a flashlight? Seems like every electrical product these days sticks an extra LED on it somewhere and calls it a flashlight. And truthfully, most of them are much better than the old incandescent filament bulbs that ran off of 2 C Cell batteries in a plastic EverReady Flashlight that we all grew up with in the 70's. But now that I can put something 10x more powerful than a 1990's Mag Light in a form that is about the size of a highlighter, de we need "extra" flashlights or are they a liability? That's my only gripe too.

But now that you bring it up, I'm going by Harbor Freight for a case for something else. Might just get one for this too.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
For the comments about jumping in sub-zero weather: It's widely known that LiPo batteries lose their effectiveness in the cold, the colder you get, the worse it is.

One more vote for some kind of jump box over cables. If my Tacoma has a dead battery I don’t want to look for someone to hook up cables.

If someone else asks if I can give them a jump, I prefer not to connect their vehicle to my truck.

Agree on the light but the flashlight on the noco is a good idea since no vehicles have under hood lights anyone, they just should have made a cover or give a case with the unit.

I was looking at HF for a case for the noco and the Brady label maker I have and haven’t found anything ideal.

For the cold and LifPo batteries, at least on the antigravity on my dirt bike you have to hit the start a fire times to “wake” it…..I’d guess something similar can be done with the boost packs?
Maybe take a fire more cycles to start?
