So I was preparing to install RCI rock sliders, and everything seemed to be going great but the bottom drivers side carrier bearing crossmember bolt sheared off when trying to remove it. I am taking it to my local shop to see if they can help me tomorrow, but based on the pictures they didn't seem overly confident. What should I do from here? If they can't help, should I just find someone to tig weld that spot to secure the crossmember, and then drill a new hole for the rock slider? Would driving without that bolt be a problem when there are asymmetric frame loads off-road? I'd hate to get on 3 wheels and then have the weight sheer the remaining rivets on that crossmember. (it looks wet in the pic because I was hitting it with PB blaster beforehand)

    update:

So the local mechanic was able to get a purchase on the bolt with the extraction set, but the tac welds holding the nut in place inside the crossmember gave up and the whole thing came out. It ended up being fine though, since the whole nut assembly being taken out meant I could just use a bolt and nut in that same spot. Probably stronger now than it was out of the factory.
