    I assumed they found it then had the skull cleaned up

    while id definitely fall out of my climber if I saw that brute alive.. I think id probably fall out of the tree if I saw that skull laying on the ground too. What an epic find for that kiddo. Someone should gently break it to him that its probably all downhill from there for him :anonymous:

    If I ever had the chance to shoot a deer that big, I'd want it to be during rifle season. Shoot him at 100-200 yards, and then freak out when I walked up on it. If I was bow hunting and he walked into range, I would have fainted and fallen out of my stand. No way I could have nocked an arrow and held a steady aim. I'd be like Don Knots in The Shakiest Gun in the West.

    But what an awesome find for a 7 year old boy. that deer is a monster, and I just read an article online in bowhunter magazine about one called "FireCracker" that was killed I think in Illinois, another monster buck.
