It does, I can grab some pics tomorrow.

It's kind of a unique design, sort of an upside down V shaped piece of spring steel that "floats" around in there and ratchets down onto the barbs of the latching mechanism when the lid is closed. When you push the button the latches turn 1/4 turn to release the V shaped piece.
