I have 2 of the push type bulk load mini grease guns. One with regular grease for difficult fittings like drive shafts and the other with a special grease for my impact gun.

The key is to buy a quality one that is well made so the point is:
    1) properly sized
    2) perfectly round
    3) hard enough to stay that way

Lincoln used to offer them, IDK if they still do.

Alternately since it is just one fitting how about the push style used for a chainsaw bar?

5 lawns cranked out, nothing fell off.
    :woot:

As a bonus look what I found in the road on the way back to the garage.

This is a lockout lock, you can't pull the key out with the shackle open.

A spritz of moly chain lube and it works perfectly.

The last hour and a half was spent cleaning shoveling out the truck interior.
What a load of crap!

You would think in addition to driving 20,000 miles in 8 months the last guy also ran a semi commercial lawn service and amateur towing company too.
