Oh I’ve seen worse, at least it’s hooked up!

Had a guy on a run one time mid-group in Mengel Pass (DV) who got stuck and then revealed his winch wasn’t wired up at all. AND he was pulling a trailer.

    :duh:

Panamint Springs to Ballarat to the Manson Ranch and Striped Butte to Badwater via Mengel Pass.

    Take your time ;)

    Youre welcome.

Thanks for all of the good insights on this thread. I’m about to pull the trigger on a TH. One of my concerns is the snorkel noise. I’ve test driven one and it is a bit annoying. Have you gotten used to it?

That is what made me grin ear to ear when I first applied throttle. Still makes me so. If it annoys you now, i suspect it won't get any better for you. I have seen someone on the other forum trying to isolate his snorkel. Don't know what the outcome was because i am not interested.

You can get the feature set of the TH in the Off Road Imax and building it out. It just will take some effort and some get satisfaction from that. So my advice is the Trailhunter is not for everyone. That annoyance will probably turn worse. Good luck.

I dig that sound. It’s a cool truck.

Went to the dealer to solve the tailgate deciding in the middle of the night it was open thus triggering the truck alarm:

Service writer says latches on both sides adjusted forward. He indicated a distance of approximately 1/8 ".

I can confirm that I can't replicate the previous error no matter how much I pull on the tailgate. It does give a more "pop" when opening than before. I should of asked if used Loctite on everything.
