Ok so I am sure alot of folks have recommendations on this matter so here it goes. I have a 2023 tacoma trd offroad and want to do a 2in lift. This is what I have in mind 6112 billstein up front with stock spring in rear either 5160 or 5100. With the icon add a leaf pack....
Next option is 5100 all the way around with the 1.5 in block in the rear. I live in wilmington nc and don't really plan on doing alot of harsh off roading and don't have any extra weight on my bed. I have stock 16 in rims and don't really wanna get bigger rims yet. Any way that's it any advice would be helpful thanks guys

    Nice.

I've got the 2" 5100 lift, but only a 1" block in the rear. It sits perfectly level all around. I dont usually carry extra weight, hence I didn't see a need for a AAL. No regrets.

You could keep your 16" rims, and get bigger, more aggressive tires.

Sounds like a good plan. Some time in the Suspension forum you might find helpful too..

Bilstein 6112/5100 at 2” (6/8 circlip, 3/8” top spacer, sway bar drop bracket, YotaWerx Black Hawk 2.0 tune, Borla Pro XS exhaust, Freedom Off-Road UCA’s, Alphrex Luxx Series smoked taillights, Westin bull bar, 265/65r18 Cooper Rugged Trek tires, 18x9 Anthem Off-Road wheels -12 offset, 4.5 backspace. Rock Sliders that I fabricated.
a lot of people say that the 5100s ride a lot better for daily driving. But I would say that also depends on what sort of clip setting each one goes with. The more you preload the spring, the harsher ride you will experience. I went with the 6112 but only preloaded it at 1 inch and a 3/8 spacer to get the other inch. I also wanted a 2 inch lift, did a lot of research and decided against maxing out the circlip. But I do like to off-road so that’s why I went with these shocks over the 5100s. And even though they are considered a stiffer shock, they ride quite nice in my opinion. Probably not as nice as the 5100s. I did go with the 5100s for the rear. But they’re just shock Absorbers. So there wasn’t a big difference from stock. I did install them a week prior to the 6112 because they came first.

2" and under usually doesn't require aftermarket uca's.

Nope. Nor did I replace the front springs (as per Bilstein recommendation).
