    When I bought my TRD Sport, when I did an as close to Apples-to-Apples comparison as possible between it and an SR5, mine was about $1,800 less expensive; I'm assuming because I won't own anything with an automatic transmission, and the models with a manual are less expensive.

    End of year 22', there weren't many options available. Don't plan on selling the truck, and it had what I wanted, other than a sunroof. Now, pushing $48k for the tech package to get leather and a sunroof, that IS where I drew the line :rofl:

    Two hour trip for us to find one. Now one party trick that is cool about 4x4, I've used 4Lo, to teach my wife how to drive manual. Low speed in a straight line, taught her where the clutch engagement point was without her having to speed around and buck the truck to death :cheers:

    How was the 6x12 trailer? So far, only pulled the 5x8, makes me want a small enclosed trailer.

    The three 6x12 trailers I've pulled for a total of about 2,000 miles were all a breeze to tow; unlike the 5x8, they have their own brakes and tandem axles, so even when they are loaded to the max weight capacity, they tow well. I will say, when I'm in the mountains with a trailer loaded too the gills and at or near max weight, the long grades are all taken in 4th or even 3rd gear. On the flats I stayed in 5th, and when on gentle declines, I would occasionally use 6th gear.

    Edit: I should also mention, I've pulled four or five 5x8 trailers as well as a single 4x8; of the three, I prefer pulling the 6x12.

    Couldn't find anything around me, and the ones I did went through CarMax anyway, so I just went through CarMax when I bought mine, easiest car lot buying experience I've ever had, I just paid the seperate $99 fee to have it shipped to me and picked it up about a week later... But it was about 4 hours away if I wanted to go get it...

    I guess I am lucky, my wife already knew how to drive a manual before we ever met, my son took his driving test in a manual, my daughter can drive one, but hates them... :D

    It's been five pages. I'm highly disappointed by the lack of fighting despite the thread title's open invitation towards fighting.

    I'm more blown away by the amount of Pavement Princess's on here, and for the 1st few pages it was over 51%, I guess a lot of the Dirt Diggers are just not posting...

    Dirt = maintenance.

    I learned this in my bicycling days. A single muddy ride meant that I was going to do a full disassembly, clean, and overhaul when I got home. A dirty day in your truck means that you will be shortening the lifespan of seals, bushings, bearings, tires, shocks, brakes, fluids and filters. I can't tell you how many locking hubs I chewed through from just driving on the beach. A lot.

    Dirt is the vehicular equivalent of smoking and drinking. Its bad for you. But what's life without it?

    I have a 2022 2WD Limited, so obviously it’s Princess. I keep it spotless, gonna wash it today cause I saw a piece of pollen on it. I have a 1979 Chevy 4WD that I use off road some. It’s mechanically sound but looks like a meth addict owns it.
