Older Mastercraft. I'll let you know when we plan to get out there.... Which will entirely depend on how the tuneup this weekend goes.

i know there's a lot of plastic in outboard exhausts, but if it happens to be a metal component with a crack, I can weld it back up. Stainless or otherwise.

it’s corroded aluminum. My old neighbor is going to try and weld it up for me and buy me a couple more years before this motors toast. I’ll be interested to see how well it welds up. It dumps right into the cowling so it basically chokes out the motor. IMG_7120.jpg

I'm happy to give it a shot of he's unsuccessful. I have the equipment to mig or tig aluminum.

I used to wakeboard all the time when I lived in Florida. My wife was asking me last weekend why I still have my wakeboard that I haven’t used in over 10 years. I told her if it makes her feel better I can buy a wakeboarding boat so I can use it again

We usually put a 100 hours a year on our motor so between fishing, cruising, and wakeboarding we are probably on the water 500 hours. Still need to get @ahspurlock out in the boat. :oldglory:

lol the past 4 years in a row we’ve barely burned a whole tank of fuel in ours each year. Last year we went through 2 so we’re working back into it! We don’t have an hour meter so I use tanks to tell how much we used it. She’s old but gold!

Picked up a set of 1st gen Tundra wheels for the T4R last night. Not exactly what I was looking for, but I'll be able to throw them on the GX when I pick it up and put something on the T4R. $100 for the wheels, and they're not in terrible shape.

I miss outboards sometimes. I can burn a whole tank in a day. Granted it's not a massive tank, but she's thirsty.

open circuit is a wiring issue. Either a loose connector, loose pins, or a damaged wire somewhere.

Yea ours is a 60 gallon so it’s a decent size, but we also don’t do water sports yet, it’s pretty much just running to the sandbars and back. I haven’t even been fishing off of her more than 2 times in the past 5 years. It’s almost time to get the kids tubing, skiing and wakeboarding though!

Think my boat holds 60 gallons too. I never let it get past 1/2 tank so I fill up about 30 gallons once a month. More if we are tubing and wake boarding.
