about that, 07 Taco, I bought new TPMS Sensors on Amazon, mid rang that people with 2nd gen Tacos has liked. The pressure light comes on the first time I go on the highway (%95 city driver).
I have a bad sensor right? in 5he past I have gone to a tire place to have them installed & reset, do I need a tool to reset them when I replace the bad one?

When mine came on earlier this winter, the temps had really dropped for the first time and it came on when I started it up and drove it for a bit. The tires looked fine so I went on my way. About two miles along the light went out. I checked the pressures and turned out one tire was a couple of lbs low. Added some air: light went out on it's own.

Just a thought

Good sharing. If you like to speed up your engine oil changes I’ve attached a picture of the valve that makes it a lot quicker plus you can drain the oil out when it’s hot or without making a mess or burning your hands.
And yes spend the money on synthetic, go with the Mobil-1 products although I am admittedly biased

This was helpful ASF! My check engine light just started flashing when I start my car in the mornings. Freaked me out. Now I know its just that I have to do an oil change soon.

The check engine light and the maintenance required light are two different indicators.

Just some fyi in case you don't know how to reset it.

This is directly from the owners manual Section 1-6 "Operation of the Instruments and Controls" under "Service reminder indicators and warning buzzers" Subsection G "Engine Oil Replacement Reminder Light" page 150

Clearing the "Maint Reqd" light on 2005 and up Tacoma's

This light acts as a reminder to replace the engine oil.

This light will come on when the ignition key is turned to "ON" and will go off after about a few seconds.

When you drive for about 7200 km (4500 miles) after the engine oil replacement this light illuminates for about 3 seconds and then flashes for about 12 seconds with the ignition key turned to the "ON" position. If you continue driving without replacing the engine oil, and if the distance driven exceeds 8000 km (5000 miles), the light will come on after the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position. The light will remain on thereafter.

If the light is flashing, we recommend that you replace the engine oil at an early opportunity depending on the driving and road conditions. IF the light comes on, replace it as soon as possible.

The system must be reset after the engine oil replacement. Reset the system by the following procedure:

1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown (For details, see "Odometer and two trip meters" on page 143 in this Section.) (Note 2: 2011 + models require using the TRIP A reading)
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter knob.

Hold the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off.

If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing

this tip worked on my 3rd gen 2023 Tacoma sport
