Hello I figured I would post my process for converting my 2nd gen regular cab Tacoma into a mid travel/ long travel 3rd gen converted prerunner, this will be my first time building out a truck this in depth.

I am planning on using a 2nd to 3rd gen McNeil racing fiberglass kit for the front and rear end. IMG_0983.jpg

I am undecided on how I want to wrap the truck, I am likely going to go with a factory racing style look, with Trd stripes but I may go with something more simple. like a solid black or blue color.

I am planing on getting a welder and tube bender, and miscellaneous tools so I can fabricate the front and rear bumper.
For now my plan is to get the main conversion done and then fit some larger tires depending on how the truck sits.
Later down the road Fitting a long/mid travel suspension setup.

    This is my Tacoma currently.

The McNeil fenders should be coming in another 2-3 weeks, I’ll update once I start the conversion and any issues or problems i run into.
