Anyone out there know of a tsb for the headlamps melting the drl lens. I can't seem to find anything in a search that has the tsb number or The part numbers for lamps.

N0, but mine have done the same thing on both sides. Now they are both cracked at the melted point. I just ordered new ones to replace these. I hope I don't have this same problem down the road...

I searched for TSB Headlamp and THIS is only direct topic thread that popped up...

was the issue the material the headlamp assembly made of? and was resolved with better built assembly
or was it the type of drl light used and a different type of light to be used with less heat like an LED or whatever

the only info the dealershop gave out was that this TSB expired in 2016
nothing about the cure for it with new replacement assemblies

yes!!, which is confusing that this was the ONLY thread that popped up in a direct search so that i could find more deets about this issue and how it was resolved years ago

the '11 taco here in question was not even a year old when this issue started popping up it appears LoL

IIRC the lens was placed too close to the bulb, causing it to melt. Mine did the same thing, the passenger side actually had a hole melted all the way through
