yea I know . But I have to spend money to make money plus I'm always tired of waiting for the shop scanner because someone else either has it or used it and let it die so I bought my own 2 years ago and the food thing is it's mine and I can do whatever I want with it lol

Screw those guys. Back in the day 10-15 years ago, when skis started really getting fast, they came with two keys. I think one key was limited to 55mph give or take, and the other was limited by redline. Second key was frightening actually, since hull design wasn't quite ready for those speeds

my buddy had one of those... yea, skipping across the water barely making a wake was nerve-racking. I think we hit 70? seemed to be the max that bombardier would do with us on it. made for a fun game of see how long you could hold onto the back though.

I went to school in florida, just down the road from the Bombardier test facility. Buddy of mine was one of the testers. They had some crazy stuff. I was fortunate enough to tag along to a couple of his test days and get in a few runs myself. Probably for placebo/genuine feedback reasons, they never disclosed if we were on production units or prototypes, but 70+ was absolutely achievable with the go-fast key.

the speed limit started in 1999.

some of the late 90's 2 stroke Seadoos (GSX Limited w/951) would do nearly 70 out of the box.

Once I remove the limiter I should be able to hit 75-76 without any other mods. I have a few things planned and should be in the low 80's all said and done.

    My wifes 1.9L N/A will do ~62mph.

I took advantage of the open gates on musterground rd and went a camp site with one of the best views.

Musterground rd runs above the top portion of Lake jocassee all the way to the gate at gorges state park. That spot is a campsite on musterground rd. The entrance is at the bad creek reservoir off of 107. But the gate to get out there is only open during hunting seasons. Turkey season ends in a couple weeks so go soon. It won't be open again until deer season.

Awesome thanks! Lake Jocassee is sweet. We love glamping at Devils Fork State Park and kayaking.

Yeah it's definitely one of our favorite places we've been. We try to drive horse pasture rd every winter. It goes out to the point on the lake were we got engaged. Then we got married a few miles up the road at a waterfall towards highlands.
