rear diff leak after regearing

So I just regeared my 2023 TRD sport to 4.88 gears in preparation for 35” tires (currently on 33s), and installed ARB front and rear air lockers, coming back from the shop after picking up the truck I was checking everything and noticed a leak on the rear differential, now I’m worried, how bad can this be? shop opens back up in Monday and it’s friday, should I not drive it at all?

Any ideas on what the reason might be?

Don't drive it. Probably pinion seal.

 

Looks like a pinion seal leak. If they go back in and fix it, I’d have them install an OEM seal. Seals that come in master kits are typically junk.

 

it's a weep, not a drip. it's fine to drive. just need to change the seal again.
