Finally wore out the stock tires, which all terrain should I get?

Like the title says, my stock tires are about 2-32nds away from the wear bars and are downright scary in nearly every condition.

I'm looking at options online and I found some different tires, which I will list out below. All of them are 265/70r17 in load range SL.

Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT - $231/tire
    Toyo Open Country R/T Trail - $243/tire
    Nitto Ridge Grappler - $165/tire

Which of these would be your top pick? Avoiding Falkens due to weight and KO2s as they do not come in my desired load range. Other suggestions are welcome, too. Thanks!

    Do you need ATs?

Michelin Defenders are awesome street and light off road tires.

    Just a thought.

My truck is actually 2wd, but I have recently been doing an unimaginable amount of gravel roads and highways, with some light trails to camping sites and fishing holes on weekends. I will look into the defenders as well! I was thinking the $165 each for new Ridge Grapplers was a pretty good deal as well, but install would be an additional ~$100. I was hoping for a slightly more aggressive look, although I am sure that a street tire would fulfill nearly all of my needs.

I love looks too. But second to function. While I'm primarily pavement, I've driven fields, dirt, gravel when needed with no concern.

I chose tires based on a few things, one being how the vehicle will be used 90% of the time.

Found what I wanted at Costco. Good sale prices, free installation and lifetime rotation/balances along with a road hazard warranty.

I have Michelin Defenders on my 18' LC and BFG KO2 on my 04' Taco and I am happy with both. If I ever wear out my KO2, I will probably get KO3s.

Well, man that does make things more difficult. Haha. I've had defenders on other vehicles but didn't think of putting them on my truck. Thanks for the help.

I drive the same type of stuff, no real off-road, and I got Cooper Road +Trail and I'm very happy with them. Pretty aggressive look on the truck too with deep tread and heavy sidewall texture, but drives pavement and gravel very well. Less tire than a full AT but handled snow and rain like a champ

That's also a great choice! Probably a nice middle-ground for my use case! I was also looking at the Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus, so if anyone has any experience with those it would be greatly appreciated!

    Check build thread!
My favorites in those sizes are (in no order, and not technically from your list)

    1. Toyo Open Country AT III
    2. Yokohama Geolander A/T G015
    3. Cooper Road +Trail
If you want my personal opinion, go with the Yokos. By far the smoothest and longest lasting light all terrain in my opinion

Second vote for Geolanders. Nice side wall looks and great for highway and light off-roading.
