Really appreciate you taking the time to get those photos. Much better understanding of what you're working with now. And right on with the TMR straps!

    haha thanks man!

its kind of a hybrid, as theres around 7-8" knocked out between the cab and wheel well, plus I wrapped the glass around the cab which ties it all together super nice in my opinion. regular long bed kinda looks goofy, but also so does the short bed, so this is best of both. Over all wheel base will be around 134-135"

yeah man! I order a lot from TMR for the business and like supporting them cuz they are canadian as well.

Basically I'm going to build the full storage trunk space off of the back. Then in the gap between the fuel cell and the storage area is where the batteries will go, as well as two trans coolers pulling air from under the truck out the top, and they'll be flush with the top tubes. I'm trying my best to keep everything under the bed sides from the side view, but unfortunately I think the spare is going to have to be above the bed sides a decent amount.

Yeah, as I was looking at the photos, I was thinking bout how much room you have in the back with your fuel cell against the cab, but a spare tire is a whole different animal.

TMR is the best. They're my first stop for builder parts. I've started using their new roll cage clamps where I need to have removable parts. A standard interlocking jaw clamp still puts force on the bolts in 3 of the 6 directions. Two in shear, and one in tension. TMRs new clamps have these clever little machined round "keys" for lack of a better term, that take the shear load off of the bolts, so now tension is the only direction of the 6 that the hardware has to handle. Really smart design on a product that's gone unchanged by every other company

Haven't done a huge amount lately, but started on the storage area, and have been spending time in cad. Have the lower pivot mounts designed, started working on the lower arm design, then it will be upper arms and knuckles.

The geometry is done, and some rough arms etc are designed, but I need to design them to be plate and cut/bent, rather than just solid mockup designs. Need to order spidertrax stuff, but have other priority spending at the moment.

I also designed and printed a third brake light chase light setup that uses three @Baja Designs rock lights (still waiting on the red one, it was back ordered). If any of you are interested in it, I could sell them.

If this offer is still up, I want to redesign the hand brake mount and get it machined! Is a step file good, or just dimensional drawings?

It's not an original idea, but it is an original design. I know this truck is going to look pretty crazy, but I want it to be as subdued as possible, so no lights hanging off the truck, they will all be hidden in some way.

How does your suspension cradle tie into the frame? It's got me curious.

It will be welded to the front tube section and tied into the forward pointed tubes, then it will also all be tied into the engine cage, which will be tied into all the rest of the chassis

I hope so! I've overbuilt everything else on this truck, so hopefully I can do that in the front too
