I was about to polish up the white clouding on the headlight assembly when I realized the amber driving lights had melted & cracked the lens... after a quick search it seems like a popular curse on the 2009's.
Dealership is going to handle it next week but I thought I'd ask if the Deluxe ARB bumper with loops affects the headlight removal at all?
    and while I'm at it...
Is there another headlight setup that is recommended?
    brighter bulbs?
    other than the BHLM?
    Thanks.

    A few bolts are different.
I did this last week. The bumper is in the way. Had to gain about 5" to be able to get each headlight out.

Ahh, thanks. I have a feeling the dealership isnt going to want to do that Did you have to remove the bumper completely? Or can you loosen a few bolts & angle it?

Removed the ARB skid. Placed a jack underneath front of bumper, then removed 4 bolts each side and pulled bumper forward about 5". That took care of it.

Timely though, I've got new headlights sitting on the garage waiting on me to put them in and me, not wanting to deal with the ARB.

I have an ARB deluxe and have changed the headlights with no problem. Not really sure how people are having problems making it work.

@deanosaurus thanks for the reply! Do you have to remove those small trim peices below your the headlight to make it work?
