    Brand new. Coming soon.
So the light patterns cross like interlocking fields of fire, and illuminate the opposite ditch?

    YES!!!
Regardless if the light throws yellow light, I want no part of an orange reflector lense when off....
    Not my thing...

Exactly, but only for the side shooting LEDs on each pod. Not the front facing main flood LEDs that still project forward. Glad the description made sense haha

Will you, or is there, anything that can be done about the orange reflector inside the headlight housings? I know an amber reflector is required...

I ended up pulling the grille off again to attempt a modified install.. I'm still sticking with the SDHQ mounts but didn't like permanently removing the upper section of active grille shutters.

Two main concerns removing the grille shutters:
    1. Upper radiators (intercooler?) are more exposed than I'd like them to be. Would hate to get a hairline crack from a rock getting kicked up at 70mph when the shutters should be closed.
    2. It felt like interior heat took noticeably longer to warm up after startup.
With enough finesse, the grille shutters can still function with the SDHQ mounts in place but the lower 4 shutters on each side need to be removed. The problem is that the 4th from the bottom on the driver's side is the only one connected to the shutter motor. I decided to cut this fin near the motor because I think it's design will keep it in place along the shutter rail and still function with the mounts installed.

I wouldn't recommend doing this if you don't want to cut things up. I cut up several of the plastic pieces in front of the grille supports to get them back in as well.

In hindsight, the factory fog replacement kits are probably a better route than the SDHQ mounts

I don’t care for the looks but I have to say for folks that actually go off road at night these are the best lights and location that really make a difference when off roading. So much is spent on lights to see forward but they always miss the spread wide enough. These will make the most difference at night if you literally only added these on your truck.

Ide have to agree with you, they have made the most impact & would imagine them being the brighter pro series & not the sports in-conjunction with location is the main reason.
They really throw good light up close & at distance...
Glare off the hood is very minimal in my situation, but im sure the 35% windshield tint may be a contributing factor but I think possibly the lines of the sport hood may be keeping the glare to a minimum & just very little on the sides, not bothersome at all...
I was expecting worse from some of the documentation in various posts here...
As far as the look goes, doesnt bother me & pretty much majority of trucks out here in San Diego are running them.
Think the Squadron were a good choice, compact in size & throw just as much light than the larger xl's which were another option.
These put out 4,095 raw lumens per light.
I really did the yellow, & part of me was thinking white / clear would be the better option while trying to decide.
The more I looked around, the more yellow I see in the ditch light location while driving around town which made my design easier along with if hood glare was an issue which its not, yellow would be less glaring on white hood than a white light...
