Alrighty, nothing crazy here just a more manufacturer friendly design, this time with O-rings. Believe it or not splitting it up like this made it cheaper to have machined. The 3D printed prototype is being made at this moment and should be together by the end of the coming week. I'm hoping I can use the 3D printed part to get something that responds to RPM the way I want, then have it machined.

Ideally I can tune the phasing in a few ways: The ramp angle of the plate that bolts to the sprocket body, the phase plate, the ball bearing weight and the spring weight.

The most expensive piece is the sprocket body, which can remain static throughout the tuning process, meaning I would only have to have the ramp and phase plate remade for tuning if need be.

    And assembled:

This one is now only 59mm thick from bolt head to end of sprocket. Just a touch larger than the OEM sprocket.

Bandido, unstpible and jubei like this.
