After 4 hours of fighting earlier today, I was able to lower both sides about 1/2” for a total of 1” drop. I didn’t measure the truck on the ground when I got home since it’s parked on a slant and I’m not sure the reading would be fully accurate. I was still unable to get spring compressors to fit with them installed so I took as much pressure as I could without removing the top nut. I did unbolt the LCA to wheel up to let it drop more.
There is some rubbing on the plastic and I must have missed an attach point on the passenger fender liner.

I will say, I think the ride has improved a lot, and at this time, I think I’m happy with it! I need an alignment. I still have lifetime at Firestone so against better judgement, I’m going to bring it there but wait with it and have them bring me back to make sure they don’t touch things they don’t need to.

unless I swap out the suspension I don’t plan on doing anything elsewith it. No more adjustments.

Oh yea, I installed a high air intake last weekend!

That is great! I did the boot slide mod, which provided separation of the fins. I only had to do it on the driver side as the inner passenger boot was fine. Also, I took it off road and am currently on a 1000+ mile road trip and believe the struts are breaking in. The ride is noticeably softer, still firm, but no longer harsh. That said, I think I will still need to lower it because I am now getting “chatter” in the front. It only happens when starting to roll from a stop forwards or in reverse, but goes away as soon as you hit about 2-3 mph. It doesn’t matter if it is in 2WD or 4WD. I think the axles are binding but I’m not 100%

That’s pretty odd and not sure I quite understand it but maybe. Not sure how the springs would cause it but maybe a tiny bit of rebound or coil bind? Not sure it would be coil bind and only happening then though.

I think I’m happy with the ride and think all the harshness is out of the ride. I need to get an alignment done, but might just do it myself. Got a camber level and know how to do the toe. Caster is good enough, as it’s in the wheelwell somewhat centered and not much rubbing in reverse. Not enough that I want to mess with it.
