Picked up a 2.7L 97' 4x4 recently with only just under 150,000 miles. Drove perfect for a long test drive, on the way home oil pressure light came on and I can hear some noise coming from the bottom of the motor. Preparing for the worst, does anyone have recommendations on shops that do good rebuilds/replacements in the Easy Bay area? Thanks.

I would use FRANK in Concord. zero doubt. most honest mechanic I have ever met.

Franks Import Service or something. I live in Santa Rosa now, and on the big issues, I still figure out a way to get my truck to Frank. I think I pass 100 shops that are closer on the way to him.

Frank and my Dentist...only reason to go to Concord now. :D
