2009 Tacoma 4wd 6 speed 4.0, I’m having problems with throw out bearing, chirping and slight rumble under acceleration, I am replacing my slave cylinder but noticed under my clutch pedal this part is leaking brake fluid, can someone please tell me what it is? The black plastic part with the rod, you can’t tell from the picture because I cleaned it up but it’s leaking fluid. Thanks

    That's your clutch Master Cylinder.

Thanks, my throw out bearing is squealing and chirping pretty much constantly unless the clutch is pressed in, truck has 180k on it, I’m thinking the throw out bearing is probably shot at this point, going to replace clutch and bearing, was looking at the URD sleeve kit for the release shaft, has anyone had success or experience with these upgrades?

Sucks because clutch feels fine and doesn’t slip at all but bearing is chirping and squealing and I get a slight rumble under acceleration, was trying to figure out a solution to get some more time out of it, and figure out what caused this in first place. I think my slave cylinder is worn out so I’m going to replace that today and see if it makes any difference

    Welcome to 6m.

DON'T do the cheap "Clutch Master". There are looong threads on the pitfalls and such. I thing there is a new set up that works now

Ran into this on mine, master cylinder is hanging up so I need to replace it.
In my case the OEM one is discontinued, I have to do the squeaky clutch pedal TSB parts. $400 for everything from Toyota.

So far mine hasn't had the squeaky throwout bearing :fingerscrossed:
