Hey guys. Haven’t been in here for a little while. Anyone in the market for a short bed 202 black 2nd gen ARE camper shell? I’m about to sell mine once I get some better pictures of it. I’m in the Newnan area.

Needless to say we all loved it AND needed to get out to the woods :pIMG_20250405_061124.jpg IMG_20250405_061042.jpg

My mother in law is visiting this weekend so I was solo camping. It looks like Steve and I had similar creek side spots.

Anyone know of a Toyota dealer that uses OEM ATF fluid? I’m at 59k and Cobb County Toyota and North Georgia Toyota use OEM “equivalent” fluid for the change.

You guys pretty happy with the Baja Boss AT's? I'm between these and the Falken AT4W. I REALLY liked previous sets of Falken AT3W but from the bit of research I've done, it seems like the new AT4W doesn't quite compare compare to the performance of the AT3W. The Baja Boss's seem to have positive reviews all the way around from what I've found. They look great too. How is road noise? I'm likely going to get their 35x12.5-17 in load range D.

We like them alot. I feel like the AT3W's we both had before did not last as long as they should have. Can't say if these will go longer or not. They do have deeper thread and are more aggressive. They are pretty quiet on the road. Don't really notice a hum on the highway like my many previous Mud terrain tires in the past. These are probably the closest to a mud terrain that are still an AT. Also, at the time of purchase, I had Discount tire price match Walmart so each tire in 285 was $250 each. So that made them one of the cheaper of the tires I was looking at.

Thats awesome! Any cons in comparison to the AT3W's yet? I know they will be a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the current BFG KM3's I have but I also remember how much I liked those Falkens.

Yeah, I got a quote from them to match Walmarts price at $327 a tire vs the current $380+ price on their website.

Gass mileage is worse but I went up from 265 to 285 so probably not the Baja boss's fault

Yeah I don't think you can go wrong with them based on what I've read about them and experienced.

Good deal - thats the general consensus from folks I've talked to so far which is awesome.

I'm prepping for a trip to Acadia National Park in June and trying to get the rig all squared away before we leave. Tired of noisy, clunky uncomfortable tires. It'll be nice going back down to a D load tire from an E load too.

I almost threw up when I looked at tire prices for the first time a few months back. Even on a 265/70/17, the selections for a reputable tire at a "decent" price just weren't anywhere to be found. I put 95k on my KO2's and was extremely happy with them. They just began cupping and became really noisy/picked up horrible vibrations in those last 10k miles or so, but not gonna complain at that mileage. They still had 5-6/32nd tread on each tire surprisingly, the cupping just became too bad, so finally replaced recently. I wanted to try the KO3's after my good experience with the 2's, but I'm not paying $300+ for ANY tire. Had Wildpeak AT3's before the KO2's, but didn't put enough mileage on them to form a decent opinion before switching wheels. A few weeks back, I finally decided to give Cooper AT3 LT's a shot. I was worried about going with an E load, given my truck is stiff as crap already from the suspension. Now driving on them for a few weeks, I can honestly say I think I prefer them over the SL/C loads I ran previously. Seems like it mitigates some of the body roll I get from running no sway bar, and stiffness doesn't feel any different than the C loads I had. At $204 a pop (DT price matched somewhere), I don't know how many other options are out there this nice. Time will tell though; I'm hoping to get another 100k on em like the last ones lol. (I obviously spend 99.997% of the time on the highway)

Thanks for the input dude, much appreciated! I had a set of coopers on my first truck about 15 years ago and remember being pretty happy with them.

Tire prices are INSANE man. I've had to recently replace the rear tires on my ISF after getting a nail in one of them. DT covered one under their certificates but because the tread depth difference was over 3/32, I had to buy another to replace the other side. I've only put 12k miles on the set so I was a very unhappy camper after having spent nearly $1500 on the full set just 8 months prior....

95k on a set of tires is insane, those tires must be hard as a rock. Is that with a 5 tire rotation? I'm at 8/32 to 9/32 left (started at 16.4/32) on a set of 5 Ridge Grapplers after 35k miles, although a significantly lower percentage of highway driving than you.

Nope, just a 4 tire rotation. Trust me, I'm just as blown away as everyone else I tell about it lol. I guess I rounded up though, it was 94,261 o_O Whats crazy is I would've kept rolling on them had they not cupped so bad; the noise and steering vibes finally got to be too much, but even that was only at evident at 65mph+, so I put up with it for a handful of miles there in the end. I'm fully convinced that driving style, terrain of commute (is it curvy, mostly straight), and maintenance play the biggest factor in tire life. I've always been able to get a stupid amount of miles out tires and brakes on every car I've had. But my commute round trip is roughly 60 miles of straight-ish hwy at 65mph, and 5-6 miles city each day. Driving like a grandpa everywhere really does wonders; I kinda have to bc my truck is a pig and doesn't like going fast:anonymous:. I do my own rotations though every 10k with oil change (backs to front, then fronts to back and cross), checked tire pressures pretty regularly (bc a TPMS was broke for all of those miles), and never had re-balanced once.

Its not all highway though, it sees its fair share of hunting roads through the winter, and tows a boat during the spring/summer. I guess I'm just lucky, idk :notsure:

Does anyone have any info on Greer automotive? Tried to call the shop at +1 (678) 540-7131 and can’t get through. Went by where they were and looks like they’re gone. Anyone know a good shop where I could get my third member resealed?
