Hello! New to this thread but not TW.
This is my 04 Burgman 650, I call it the minivan of bikes. Hands-down the most practical commuter, but it leaves a lot to be desired
It has somewhere in the neighborhood of 40k miles, and half of the tupperware is held on by self tappers, but overall its a great bike. Rebuilding the water pump next weekend, it's been leaking oil for about as long as I've owned it.

National Forest roads? If so then yes, they require street legal docs, so insurance, registration, etc. I have no idea about State Forest.

If it were me and I were spending the money on a rabaconda or this one, I'd be getting the street version that comes with the ratcheting duckbill part. To me, that version is just a fancy $300 bead breaker, which I already have tools to do. Granted the street version is over twice as much..

I'm too broke for the regular Rabaconda.....so that one is definitely out of my range  I don't really even know if the Neutron would be worth it for just myself. I was just window shopping :D

Also, I haven't changed a tire with a tube in over 25yrs. We used soapy water, is that still a thing.....or is there something better?

They make tire specific lubes now, but I'd venture a guess that most of us are using soapy water or windex which work just as well in my humble opinion. I use windex because it dries a little quicker so I don't end up with moisture on the inside of the tire.

I'll try windex  it's just been so long I wanted to check. Last time I changed a tube.....burning tires wasn't a big deal

Grab a gallon put it in a squirt bottle, mount all my tires with it and still have a half a gallon left after almost 10 yrs.

Works better than soapy water, wont leave moisture inside the tire etc.

Got out and put up the 5x5 powder tent. Re blasted a couple parts that I needed to re coat. Cleaned the monkey wheels and got to it. Oven worked great with the new fan layout. Got the wheels done, remounted the tires, installed new wheel bearings and mounted them on the bike. Got the headlight installed along with new flush mount signals. Only thing I need to do is lift tank and install the turn signal flasher relay.

I have motion pro spoons myself.

Try armorall spray on the tire beads. Thats how ive started going. But i have bottles around i never use otherwise.

Been too cheap to buy tire lube. Was using windex or soap but reached a point with some tires where those werent always working the best.
