[IMG] Thinking about running these RC steel wheels on my 3rd gen. I remember seeing a thread about steel wheels and caliper clearance. Anyone have any experience/advice with this?

Your pic is not showing up.

I am currently changing to 17" steel from the FJ. 17x7.5 +19 offset and 5" backspace. No problem with the stock OR calipers. Original OR rims were 16x7 +25 offset and 5" backspace.

Going to 17" because the tire selection is greater.

My 2020 OR came with 16” wheels. Not sure if they all do or not.

I've got 16" Toyota OEM steel wheels, no issue with fit.

These are OEM steelies that come as spares on ORs. Painted Cement to color match. No issues with brake calipers.

Yep - 16" is the right size for a taco...

Well.... the Sport came with 17" and the Limited/Nightshade with 18" in 2021; according to the brochure.

    You are 100% correct!
    'The sport' -right
The limited is just an expensive 'sport' with more chrome.

    - Both of those, as you point out come with the 'wrong' size wheels. (With the 18" being even wrong-er!)
    :D

They fit no issues. Get acorn style lugs.

It's going to be a challenge, getting those 5-lug wheels on a 6-lug flange...
