    You can also try a little saucer of beer. Some insects are attracted to beer and will drown in it. Sorry if already mentioned...

    Finished up burning brush piles today.
    If it does not rain tonight, I will collect it tomorrow.

    Ash below is from Saturday, so it is cold.
    It will go on the fruit trees.

    Do not use any petroleum based fire starters if you plan to use ash in the garden. Also, no painted wood, no pressure treated wood, etc.

    This is pine and privet bushes, from trimmings around the property.

    What variety of peach tree is best? Costco has this variety and Babcock Peach trees.

    What Zone are you in? This is for Zones 8 thru 10.
    It is a freestone, which I like. Second is a bit hardier, but also hot weather peach.
    Both are self pollinating. First is a yellow peach, second is a white peach.
    I have 1 peach and 2 nectarines. Prepare to spray and prune peach and nectarine religioilsly. They are prone to red rust and fungus. I have lost a year of peaches to fungus before, if summer had too much rain.
