Should I do anything about these areas that have rust?

    There's a little rust there but I wouldn't worry.

    The first set of pictures was a few rusty hose clamps and the exhaust manifolds. Stock exhaust manifolds will almost always be rusty because paint won't stick to them, no big deal, they'll be fine.

    If you need to replace any of the hoses secured with rusty hose clamps, plan on replacing the clamps too.

    After replacing, I gave mine a shot of WoolWax. It can't hurt, and it may help prevent rust going forward.

    wash them let it dry. then scrape or wire brush off excess rust, rinse, dry, then fluid film those rusty areas. Do this process once or twice per year and it will stop the rust in its tracks.

    and yes, replace small thin parts, those will rust thru...

    dont spray on belts or stuff that gets real hot as it will burn off.
