My 06 Tacoma has 290k+ miles and it just keeps going. But, my suspension squeaks like crazy (frequent water crossings where I live).
What's a cost effective (cheap cheap) suspension replacement? It currently has an Icon front leveling setup but the struts and mounts are wore out (on a 2nd round of lower heim joints, not a good design for my use).
The rear leafs are stock but I could use some more hauling capacity.
I dont need a lot of lift but like the leveling setup for the 265/70/17s.
    Thanks all.

When i think super cheap I think low mileage oem takeoff or something like rough country.

5100s and OME coils will freshen it right up. @HeadStrong Off-Road has always steered me correctly and has excellent tables for which coils/settings for the desired lift (nothing, leveled, or sky high).

I've been through three suspensions (actually all purchased thru Headstrong), starting exactly where I advised above and currently running a much more expensive setup, with minimal working up to minor lift (currently a hair less than an inch above factory).

As for rear leafs, I started with Dakkars and they carried me a long way but I should.have bit the bullet on Icon RXTs a long time before I did. The cost delta was way less than the performance delta.

A big can of WD-40. Hose down your leaf springs to start.

Also, I just replaced my stock Bilsteins with 4600s up front. My rears are still stock and stout with 175,000 miles on them.
IF your springs are still good, a new set of Bilsteins will serve you well.

Yep, PB Blaster works for a while. Black Oil/Grease spray works the longest.
I'm getting ready to hand down the truck to my son and wanted to fix it a little before then.
