Leaf Spring Center Bolt Torque?

    There's a bolt in the center of each end of the leaf spring. :goingcrazy:

    If you cannot find the torque spec for some random bolt, then the torque is likely not important. Not every bolt has a torque spec. Just use your best judgement.

    If I know which bolt is being referred to, I think its purpose is to keep the leaf pack together when it is uninstalled and to align the leaf pack on the axle during installation. After the leaf pack is installed, the u-bolts are all that are needed to keep it together.

    I always turn them 'till they break, then back off a quarter turn.
