In for the shenanigans. No need for a wrench turn over here, but I'm happy to help get dirty where a second pair of hands and supervisory eyes are needed. :jerkoff:

I will eventually need to swap off the TRD Foxes to get them rebuilt, that would be a pretty quick job with multiple hands attacking it. If we're low on shit to do...

I thought I had cracked the code on no cut 33's but alas, tuck too hard and the +30 of OEM Tacoma wheels plus the 285 width rubs the UCA at full droop and full lock.

I don't think anyone makes stock geometry tubular UCAs, either.

Phoenix area have you guys had okay ish luck with non temp controlled storage units as long as you're somewhat smart about it? Not gonna have electronics and will try to avoid keeping liquids like diff fluid, paint cans etc in there. Just need a place to dump stuff like tools, camping gear, the bedcover for my truck and *maybe* my bike during the months I won't be riding super often. Reno gets hot but not AZ hot. 100 ~ and everything I've had in there is fine. Or necessity to get temp controlled?

I'll be with my aunt for a month or two starting mid june then gotta find a cheap short term rental until December and buddy and I will get a house starting January. 2 car garage is our number 1 requirement lol.

Also how awful is The circled area for a little 1 bed 1 bath apartment just a few months? Any reason to be genuinely worried about leaving a truck parked outside in the apartment lot?upload_2025-4-26_18-37-44.png

Can find a place for around $1000 a month in that area with washer dryer in unit which would be just fine for a while. I'm single, no kids, no pets, and a minimalist aside from the stuff I want to have in a garage lol. And close enough to Camelbak & 24th (mon-fri) and Camelbak and 44th(weekend job I'll prob pick up with my friend for fun and to meet people in the area that aren't from high school lol)

Also Once I'm there if anyone wants a bakflip MX4 third gen bedcover I'll cut you a good deal on it especially if you help me get it off my truck lol. Came with my truck so I have 0 idea how to get it off. Kinda want my bedrails back in stock spot so I can buy easy mounts for axe, shovel, traction boards etc and avoid headache of rigging something up myself.

I just recently got into the suppressor game.... Approval took 72hrs for multiple cans

Been eyeing a PCC now, still unsure which one to get.

I also want an ultrasonic cleaner, cleaning the 22 can sucks balls. What chemical is safe on titanium?

Hell yeah. Approval times are awesome now. I'm looking at getting another 22 can myself as I just got approved for my 2nd 9mm can in 4 days not too long ago.

I'd recommend the Breakthrough suppressor cleaner kit. Even tho I have access to a ultra sonic.. it's too easy to make lead acetate and or strip coatings depending on what chemicals and combinations you use.

Just watched that yesterday too. Funny.. I recognized the dude Aaron from Foreign Connection from somewhere, especially being from Az.. then it hit me. He came through the old shop once for a project he wanted done on his 2jz swapped s13 drift car.

I put a 1/2" slip on spacer on the rear of my truck to get if off the shocks and to match up with the front track width, worked like a charm. Might be worth a sliver of a spacer to keep it off of the UCA.

Front slip-on spacer rings can be super sketchy on a 5G 4Runner... They have some short studs even by Toyota standards.

I’d never advise anyone do slip on spacers without replacing the studs first, the tacoma studs are short too.

Yup step 1 in that guide is "get extended lugs"

I did stack 2 6mm spacers and it was hella sketch, I wasn't even putting the full weight of the car down lol. I tried +24 (almost Lexus offset) and +18 (short of 4runner offset)

I'm gonna try with the OEM 4Runner wheel next, but I swear I remember the stock spare rubbed with a 33.

If you're looking into Renogy for their batteries, I would stay away. Excellent panels and my charge controller have been great thus far.

Also: Don't think they have set distributors. Just their online store and Amazon afaik.
