I never speak badly of my girl. She has taken me to places I never thought I'd go to and always has brought me back.

I'm a printer. Back is front, top is bottom, inside is out......

 

At work we have an area called China Pack. Parts made here are boxed up and set to China for assembly. Back when this started some people we putting Playboy and Penthouse magazines in the boxes and sending them to China. The company was not happy. The guys in China opening the boxes were happy.

 

I was under the impression that you didn't do anything at work. Just based on all your posting.

I aim for the same.
One reason I got into this is because it isn't a very physical job.
More tinkering and monitoring and fine tuning.
If everything is running how it should, I don't have much to do.

It's only when I'm replacing parts or doing maintenance that I actually "work".

Or when someone parks 10k#'s of paper in my way.

 

Dealing with this level of fuckery on a daily basis is tiring. So are you Cygnus...

 

It blows the mind that it's cheaper to package and ship stuff 7,000 miles each way to assemble than to just do it here. SMH.

 

Some stuff has 16k miles of transportation miles before the owner can use it.

Not that it should be necessary but if you think it's a dirty shaft f'n up your shocks, you might want to occasionally drop some light weight oil like hydraulic fluid on top of your shocks.
(some cleaners/lubes, i.e. wd40, will dry the seals out).

My ink pumps (at work) constantly sit in an oil bath to keep the seals from drying up.


(cue the laughs and jokes)

 

thats what I ran on my fox 2.0s. seemed to get the job done and I never had issues

 

F it, I dripped some 3-in-1 oil on my shocks, since I'm still thinking about it.

All kinds of dirt was sliding on the shaft.
