I had a friend from Iowa (in the office) and he would tell me when I go visit family in Cedar Rapids (my first time out there) to make sure to lock my car doors.

I was really surprised thinking that it would be safe in Iowa. I asked if crime was a problem and he straight up said....

if you leave your car unlocked.....

you may come back to a seat full of vegetables because someone had a bumper crop! He would often come back to squash, cucs, and maters in his passenger seat. I haven't laughed that hard since!

When we had our store we had several farmers who would bring us stuff. We would eat what we could and pass the rest to friends or customers.

We still have one who will call me every now and then and tell me to stop by, last summer he gave us watermelon, corn, and tomatoes.

That's honestly the only way to do it if you're not in it for the business. Sharing is caring for the stuff you grow. I personally don't care about people, but the animals/veggies/taco.....they get a coating of defense in the form of lead.

    also....watermelon, corn and matoes......my favorites!

Is it one that has threads and an external washer/nut? If so, it has an o-ring behind the washer/nut and it's a simple fix.

Please take a picture and post. I've also had the same issue and was able to replace it due to a worn gasket. But a picture might help us understand better.

Too tight is no good. Take it back off and replace the o ring. If it’s a flare fitting it might need replacing. Let’s see the fitting and we can tell what type fitting it is

    Piranha Bar update...
So as many of you know, I don't have near the tractor experience as most of you guys. I never drove one up until the time I bought my L3901 in March of 2024. As an unsuspecting "looker", I always saw the tractors with a loader and said to myself "I bet you can do all kinds of stuff with THAT thing!". Well yeah, it turns out you can do "some stuff" with that. But this Piranha Bar takes it to a whole 'nother level.. :D :D
You can get UNDER stuff soooo much easier, whether just scraping the ground smooth, or if trying to dig a bit. I still have a number of large Live Oaks on my property that had been left (by prior owners) to get overgrown and crowded out by "Tarzan" vines and hedges (wild Privet) of varying sizes. To clear around these trees we had been cutting that undesirable stuff to remove it and then struggling to get root balls out afterward. I've learned in the last day or two that there is a much better way to do it.. :)
Many of those wild privet had trunks of up to 3" diameter, and some had multiple trunks from the same root system. I found that I could push partially under those mothers with the Piranha Bar, the back up slightly and raise the bucket a foot or two and then give the privet a little push. Then go back under it and push under a little deeper. Then raise the bucket, push high again, and repeat a few times. As it really starts to loosen, pick the bucket up a bit while under the "mother". By then it will pop out of the ground and I can move on the then next one. For the smaller ones, I can pretty much just push right through them and they will pop out of the ground quickly.
The "before" pic is not really before, because I had already cleared a bunch from around this particular tree, The after pic is not the finished job, because there is still more to remove from around he backside of the tree. But I can't do that until I get rid of much of what I've already cleared from the front side.. :angrygirl:
I can tell already that this accessory makes the bucket MUCH more versatile, and will save me much time and effort as time goes on.

There’s 2 fittings shown. The one at the end of the hose or the one going from the 90 into the cylinder?

The one at the end of the hose looks like a flare.
The one going into the cylinder looks like threaded
    I don’t see any o ring fittings.

Im going to go ahead and say the hose fitting is what’s leaking? Can you take that apart and we can look?

Most important thing there is you have a very strong tractor. The bar is only as good as the tractor its on. So a note for you: that 3901 is strong enough to BEND that FEL. Stay center when you hit those 3" ers so that you don't twist that FEL.

Yeah bud the one from the hose onto the 90 fitting is where its leaking. Will take it apart tomorrow.

The end of the hose may have got hit and bent, may have to get a new hose or get a new fitting put on it if you have enough hose. Usually flare fittings don't give trouble.

The fitting that screws into the cylinder has an o-ring behind the nut, like this.
