    Hello,

I would like some outside opinions on this issue that recently occurred and is now creating a potential headache for me.

It appears (I'm assuming) that my high pressure line for my power steering is leaking rather quickly when my truck is running and is a slow leak when turned off. Would this fix be as simple as replacing the hoses and lines for the power steering assembly or would the entire rack and pinion have to be replaced? Any thoughts are helpful. Thanks.

As long as the system hasn't been run without fluid usually all that needs to be replaced is the line.

Mechanically the job isn't difficult, a fitting at each end and a clamp or two along the length -- access however can often make an "easy" job more difficult.
