So when I am traveling at night and have my headlights on normally the lights that show the main left menus (HOME/APPS/AUDIO side tabs do not illuminate. In DRL mode they do work, so example, I left a destination last night and because I didn't go to the exact address (Hospital ER) the nav screen kept asking for a U turn to find the previous destination. As it was noight my headlights were on but to find out where to touch to go to the nav screen and stop the nav I had to turn off the headlights or go to DRL or Marker lights to see the illuminated Left panel of the head unit.

Is this normal? If not where is the setting? i tried the panel brightness/Trip meter stick but no joy.
