I think I've done the math right but I want to check with y'all, can I tow this?

    I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road.
    6400 towing capacity
    5600 GVWR

I'm in the process of purchasing a
    2025 Flagstaff EPro 19FBS
    4437 GVWR
    3543 ship weight
    432 Hitch weight

    I did 80% of 5600 and got 4480

Am I cutting it too close? Will I be ok? I don't have a lot of gear, basic stuff nothing crazy heavy. I won't be traveling with full tanks. ...

I'm pretty new to all of this so any input would be appreciated.

    Can you? Yes.....
Will you and the truck like it? No, probably not.

Let the engine do the work, not the transmission.
Transmission in lower gears, Engine at Higher RPM where it makes more power.

If you plan to tow often. More tan a couple times a month, You might want to reconsider.
Either a different truck, or lighter camper.

I bought a new 20' toy hauler in 2023 with a dry weight of 3,800 lbs and GVWR of 5,900 lbs. It has a cargo capacity of 2,100 lbs and a hitch weight of 500 lbs. And then immediately took it on a two-week tour of the SW states from Seattle to Dallas and back.

I have an ECU tune (stock OVtune from their tune pack) and my rig is a manual transmission, but it kinda sucked. ANY slight incline or barely a headwind put me in 3rd gear which I used most of the time slapping between 3rd & 4th to keep up with traffic and prevent the semis from passing me (the bastids). Downhill on highways it was nice to finally put it in 5th. Top speed was about 60-65MPH floored in 4th. That trailer feels like a parachute and the limitations of the V6 engine really were apparent. Mileage was single figures too.

That said, as long as I had extra days of vacation I wouldn't mind doing it again lol. It kept me in the slow lane for 99% of the time which sucked because of the torn up semi-truck roads (AZ had the worst slow lanes) otherwise to your question OP, yes you can do it but won't be real happy unless you normally drive like an old man.

I'm not as much concerned about how fast I can go as I am about how it's going to affect the engine.

I only plan on moving it a couple times a year. One big road trip initially with multiple stops then not again for a while. Eventually I will upgrade to a larger full size truck but this taco is paid off and I didn't want another truck payment anytime soon.

I'm traveling for work and the camper seemed like a good way to save money on lodging from job to job. I don't bounce around from jobs too often, about six to eight months or so has been the average so far.

Understand and agree with both those thoughts

However, I would pause the purchase process and consider something lighter and lower profile if you can find suitable.
