I'm almost sure that wouldn't make it through the week around here without someone making it theirs. It is cool though. On the other hand that's kind of the problem.

    Yep it's a flare.

Evidently I hit it in the woods & uncentered it. ??

Undid it, looked for damage, wiped it off, put it back together... No leak so far.

After it's been opened up like that... do you have to bleed it? Like brakes?

I will keep that in mind. I do try to be careful so as to not break anything. I just "inch" up to stuff, then try to push under slowly. If it doesn't go fairly easily I back up a bit and then try again, possibly a bit deeper or a bit shallower. If it's still a no-go then I might try from a different approach angle.
Again I really don't wanna break anything, but I'm trying to have the tractor do more work and my 72 year old back do less work. ;)

I hear that on helping the back & using the equipment....

Just don't want ya to warp the FEL. Because I have done this to 2 different tractors. Using them to their max ability plus extra.

Kubota/Kioti way underrate their tractors strength.

On the fitting: yep up & running no leak so far, but can't really tax the system in all this rain.

Just don’t crank it down anymore. Those fitting are made of cheap stuff so be nice.
    If it does leak,
    take it back apart.
    Clean everything. Both ends.
Run your finger around inside the female flare and the male end looking for burrs or knicks.
If all looks good spray and t all down with WD40. (NOT BRAKLEEN!!!)
When you put it back together don’t just get the threads going and crank away. With one hand line up the flare ends square with eachother while you thread it on. Sometimes you gotta hold the hose up while doing it. Flares can be finicky if they’re not mated properly. Good luck and tractor on. You’re doing the right thing asking about a leak. Leaks suck and don’t belong. No hanging diapers either
In the meantime call the dealer or source that hose online and look for a backup hose. Those smaller hoses aren’t that expensive and it doesn’t hurt to have a backup

Seriously everyone.....that's what makes this thread the best one in all of tacoworld. Great advice and education all. I learn something new everyday here. Side note: If you think the pirhna bar is great for uprooting trunks/trees you should try a back hoe! Talk about saving your back. Just like Hot Sauce....I use that Sh!t on everything!!

Medical offices often use a system like this to say “ready for the provider” or not as well.

My guess is a way to indicate if x-rays are being used or not. Basically an "OK to come in/Stay out" sign.

I concur. I prefer that method even over a chipper because when you're done with the chipper then you have to deal with the chips if you want anything to grow there. With a backhoe I would dig the stump out of the ground and set it off to the side, dig the whole it came out of somewhat bigger, push the stump into it, cover it up and done.

Never seen those at a dentist office. But then again the dentists ive been dont really have "rooms" either. but that one looks like a random spot to have been placed too.

but in a normal doctors office with those they just show room status. RED - Room occupied by patient, GREEN - Room Ready but unoccupied, black - X-Ray needed, ect
