The problem with a "high clearance" bumper for the back of the Gen4 is the trailer hitch. It's part of the frame and not removable, unless you cut it out. It's going to be the low spot that any bumper will need to be built around. There are several companies selling iron for the back end of the Gen4. These are the companies I have saved. The C4 and the Rago are probably the highest clearance. When I made the list only Victory made a swing out tire/gas carrier. There is now another company with swing out carriers, but I don't remember.

    Victory 4x4
    Addictive Desert Designs
    C4 Fab
    Expedition One
    Rago Fabrication

    yeah,

i"ve seen all the offerings. I am willing to cut the hitch portion off just like on the 5th gen 4runner. as long as its reinforced higher up. as long as its higher than where the stupid hitch is currently. Thanks for chiming in. I just wanna see someone hack up the shop truck to develop one for us.
