Does this ball joint interface look ok?

I’ve never seen scratching like this on a press fit. These are brand new lower control arms from Toyota. The other looks fine.

Should I be concerned, or send it?

 

If they are new just return them, dont settle for messed up parts

 

Only issue is I might be beyond the point of being able to return. I ordered these a little bit back and sat on them until I had the time to do the work.

I’m wondering if there’s reason for caution or if it won’t have any effect on function. I’ve only ever seen perfect surfaces in the past.
