Im so sorry to hear that. I know I couldn't live without them. Its always heartbreak, but the love and joy they bring daily cannot be replaced.

Sampson was the lap cat, full-time. Sasha was mostly my wife's cat. They were 17 year old litter mates.

We're getting ready for a 600 mile move and we'll have thier ashes and paw prints to take with us. And when we're settled a bit, we'll look for another one.

In the mean time we've got Tessa to love on.

 

Would be nice to have a spine that is as flexible as a cats!

He’s a hoot. I actually think he was plotting on me and got caught.

Got new sofas, they are currently undergoing nofeet testing.

 

Next test is scratch and shredding test.

 

I always get leather, so far these two have never been attracted to it.

 

That's great. Had an aunt that did that and no matter what, her cat went after the leather sofa and love seat. Guess it just depends?

 

I’ve noticed most cats leave leather alone, except orange cats.

 

Mine have done some pretty serious damage to the leather couches just by jumping up onto them.

When I was in college, I painted my 1970 Karmann Ghia convertible. I put it in the driveway to dry. Next morning there were 3 long parallel scratches on the front fender top to bottom......
