This seem like normal fuel pressure?

    Back story. 06 4.0 300k
Driving normal and just stopped on freeway. Sounded like no fuel. Can't hear or feel pump when I touch it. Bypassed resistor and this is what I get out of it.

    It's just dribbling out

Looks like plenty fuel coming out but that doesn't tell you if it can make pressure or not.

If that is the feed line, you have a problem. That should be shooting out of there forcefully.

We're starting to see corrosion cause issues with the harness and connector back there.

Also we're seeing fuel level sender issues. Are 100% sure there's fuel in it? Can you splash in a jerry can?

It's at 1/8. I'll put in another gal tomorrow to make sure its not the sender.

Ya know about a week ago I noticed my low fuel light coming on sooner than normal now that I'm thinking about it.

Lots of professionals get caught up with this, including myself. Glad it was that easy.

The last 3 cars we thought needed fuel pumps ended up having holes drilled in the tanks

    minor tweaks
I make a concerted effort to not run my fuel that low. Many drivers think nothing of running the tank down to empty which wasn't much of an issue with mechanical fuel pump but in today's vehicles it's not doing the system any favors since the pump are cooled and lubricated by the fuel in the tank. Running it down to the point where the engine is starving for fuel is aging the fuel pump prematurely.

Harness from frame to sending unit. It's worth opening the loom and making a good visual check when you're in there.
