    Saw the Waterpocket Fold flying over Utah the other day.

    "The Waterpocket Fold is a nearly 100-mile-long warp in the Earth's crust, known as a monocline. You can see the distinctive tilted layers of sedimentary rock and deep erosion patterns, which are key identifiers of this region."

    This is one of my favorite geologic places ever. We drove out there and up the wash to the short hike to the viewpoint on the western rim. Stupifying. Drove down into the fold and the road running through it a bit too.
