Hawks and owls are my favorite things to watch when I’m sitting in the woods

Hawks and owls are my least favorite thing to hear when walking out the woods
Walking out in the dark has always been really peaceful, but from time to time you just get those eerie feelings. An owl/hawk taking off from its branch right above your head as you walk under it just sounds like a helicopter appearing and crashing all at once, until it registers in your brain it was just a bird lol.

    That’s completely fair

I had some type of predator bird fly over head in Montana once. It was flying down the same draw I was hiking down. Had to have been doing 70+mph and sounded like a fucking rocket. Still don’t know what kind of bird it was cause I only caught a glimpse of it but was a really cool experience

My buddy was walking out one night and an owl landed on his back. o_O
He started jumping and running around and it wouldnt get off of him so he finally just fell over on his back (he was carrying a climber) and kinda wallered around trying to squish it. I've never seen someone come running out of the woods that fast.
