Paint it. Plastidip will start flaking in a year or so. At least that was my experience with plastidipping the grill. It's also more difficult to clean.

Denso heat range for the 5VZ is IK16. The recommendation for the turbo is two ranges colder so IK22. Today I've determined that was a lie.

These were way cold and my garbage fuel mileage was even more garbage lately, maybe around 12-13ish. Swapped them out for IK20 plugs.

It feels a lot better. And idle is smooth. I didn't even notice the idle until the new plugs.

Looking back the recommendation started with URD and the recommended the IK22s for the super charger which makes sense since that thing runs hot and doesn't have an intercooler.

Thinking about selling. Have a baby on the way and need to renovate the house.

What is a good asking price? With 145k miles, KBB (stock) is around $8-9k.

Id say 13k, I sold mine for 11k with 235 on it a few years back. Just hard to find the right buyer, course the day I sold it 4 people called saying they would give me 12 cash that day.

Besides my 20" Pro-Comp mags & Perelli Scorpion tires plus a quality 3,000 watt sound system she's all Toyota. I've replaced so many parts to make it a solid driving truck. Wrapped steering wheel with real leather cover, Struts, shocks, rotors, quality pads, full front end rebuild with urathane bushings, windshield, all door actuators, fuel injectors, coil packs, iridium spark plugs...all Denso. All soft fuel lines & vaccum lines new, New carpet kit. I cleaned the original white paint to as good as new.
I want to do a twin turbo on my 1991 bmw 850i. It has a v12 and is worth about $20,000 so I think if I do it I'll go with real Garrett turbos and have a pro build my manifolds. What a monster it would be! 6 speed manual on the freeway...Maybe I need to move to Montana?
