Last night my wife said that she wants to go somewhere for vacation this summer.

I said "narrow me down."

She said "we could go to Toronto, or Glacier or rent a cabin in Minnesota for a week or stay home and go paddleboarding 5 times... you decide."

Not terribly helpful in narrowing it down.

I looked at cabins in Glacier. Four hundred plus per night. Ouch.

I looked at concerts in Chicago and she said she'd be fine with any of the bands that she's heard of.

Still not helpful.

Looking for cheap flights somewhere, we could fly to Barcelona for less than some domestic locations. I texted that to her and she said "why not?"

This might take some time...

 

No, not building a house. The upstairs does need some TLC, but the barn needs exterior work and 250' of hose would just about let me wrap around the barn. It'd be a PIA, but I could also wheel the compressor out to the barn and plug it into the Genset.

 

I vote rent an RV and park it on that chunk of land that @StayinStock bought and live it up for a few days in methville Missouri

 

Run the hose through the house and that'll save you some footage

And don't go all the way around the barn, just to the far corner then go back around and reach that side.

 

Let me help muddy the waters a bit and say that Nashville has a great music scene with all the Honkytonks, bars, and we also got the Opry and the Ryman... Plus distilleries!

I gotta finger out a way to mount them. All the rest of the old school FD stuff is getting tossed out ... air packs with steel bottles.. like how the F did I ever wear that heavy shit. Bunker gear, boots ... probably will hang on to the helmets though.
