Has anyone used these crossbars for the prinsu roof rack?

Its just aluminum extrusion. As long as its the size that matches the Prinsu, those'll be just fine.

They are exactly the same as the Prinsu ones. TNutz is a very good company by the way, with great service!

I just ordered 2 of these a couple weeks ago to replace ones that the stupid cheap screws broke off in. Much cheaper but they lack the little slot to drop in anchors or bolts without unscrewing the crossbar.

That slot you mention on the bars are probably only on the newer Prinsu racks- the original rack sold by the creator didn’t have that. Does sound nice if you change your setup a lot, but not a big deal.

The big issue you mention is broken mounting bolts, how did that happen? Are they using crappy hardware now or did you accidentally over tighten them? I have a heavy RTT on mine and the bolts have never snapped. You can remove the broken studs with an easy out and if that fails with a drill and tap if you want to recover those bars.

I assume its galvanic corrosion and cheap hardware combined for spectacular results. Mine broke off when trying to back them out to move the bars. Probably should have put some anti seize on the bolts originally, but I didn't.

Wow that’s crazy. I’ve had mine on since 2017 and the bolts are just fine. But then again, I do live in a pretty arid place with no snow.
